About the event
Come spend an unforgettable day at Fort Steele Heritage Town learning practical horse packing skills in a hands-on, full-day clinic. Explore multiple packing methods, practice with experienced instructors and horses, and learn how to care for your animals and stay safe in the backcountry.
This clinic runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with lunch included, and is sponsored by Back Country Horsemen in partnership with Sawtooth Outfitters. No prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn and enjoy a day filled with skills, stories, and backcountry know-how.
Please note participants must be at least 12 years old and if under 16 be accompanied by an adult.
