Meet Father Christmas
Meet Father Christmas at the Wasa Hotel. The stage is set like a Victorian Christmas play. Showcasing the Christmas Pantomime.
Pantomime is a tradition which has nearly been lost to time in Canada but is still enjoyed all over the UK. Communities come together to tell fairytales through silly scripts, popular music and larger than life dance numbers.

Holiday-themed ambience & cozy vibes - Screenings of The Polar Express at Wildhorse Theatre, we encourage attendees to come in pajamas, turning the movie night into a comfy, family-friendly event.

Hot cocoa, cookies & concessions - Just like in the movie’s famed hot-chocolate scene: concession stands have served cookies and hot drinks for families attending the event.

Heritage-town atmosphere - The screening takes place inside a historic-town theatre, part of a larger living-history site. That means you’re not just stepping into a dark cinema, but into an old-time village setting that can add extra charm, especially if you explore the town before or after the movie.

Parking is available at no charge on-site.

Alight The Fort tickets are recommended for online purchase, with limited entries per evening. Most nights may sell out—purchase early to secure your date and time. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Alight The Fort is a fully outdoor event. Inclement weather closures will be posted on Fort Steele’s social media pages (@fortsteele), and an email will be sent to ticket holders.

Membership holders can present their pass on-site for any date and time. Accompanying guests without passes must book tickets in advance.
