Fort Steele Heritage Town is a living history attraction near Cranbrook, British Columbia, where visitors can explore a historic 19th-century town, meet heritage interpreters, watch traditional trades in action, take guided tours, experience wagon rides and Clydesdales, and discover the stories of the people who shaped the East Kootenay.
Planning a visit to Fort Steele this October? Take note of our special event hours!
On October 17, we’ll be open from 1 PM to 6:30 PM for Trick or Treat Day,
followed by Fright at the Fort on October 24 from 6 PM to 10:30 PM.

On both days, our regular daytime activities will be replaced by Halloween fun, so make sure you plan your visit accordingly!

We can’t wait to celebrate spooky season with you at the Fort!
